Holoxica was invited by UK Research and Innovation (UKRI, representing the UK Research Councils) to attend the American Association for the Advancement of Sciences (AAAS) 2019 event held in Washington. It was a great honour to be chosen for this event, where we were representing an example of a UK "high tech SME". The AAAS is a highly prestigious organisation, on a par with The Royal Society in the UK, who actively promote science and engineering.

UKRI had a large stand in the exhibition, where we showed our holograms and display; we also took part in a packed reception. We had a lot of interest in our tech, many people haven’t seen real holograms before. Other exhibitors from the UK included the gravity wave detection, arctic survey and VR.
