Holoxica started life at a university incubator for almost seven years. We are well-acquainted with the local eco-system and have students coming and going all the time. We have supported international students as well, including the EU Erasmus programme. The projects can vary and we've had students with the following backgrounds in the past:
Electronics Engineering & Embedded Systems
Optics and Photonics Engineering (including physics)
Software Engineering (image processing, UI & embedded programming)
Mechanical Engineering & Design
3D Graphics Design
Computer Graphics Programming
Business & Economics (including MBA)
We’ve also worked with brilliant self-starters who didn’t finish their degree.
Doctoral Scholarships
Holoxica partnered with EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Applied Photonics, which is a collaboration between leading Scottish Universities including: Heriot Watt University, Glasgow University, St. Andrews University, Strathclyde and Dundee. Holoxica offered doctoral scholarships in the past.
