Holoxica participated in a virtual workshop organised by the Houston Technology Collaboration Center on “Imaging Advances” on 12-13 November 2020.

The Technology Collaboration Center is a partnership between the NASA Johnson Space Center, industry and universities, with the mission of solving difficult technology problems through innovative solutions connecting collaboration partners across technology sectors.

The goal of the workshop was to facilitate technology transfer. Discussions close to our heart dealt with medical conditions that make space travel difficult & the 5 hazards of human spaceflight, important for going to the Moon & Mars & back! What medical imaging tech do you need up there? Astronaut Don Pettit showed how some fluids behave in space and how he was doing some of his own medical imaging in space. Holoxica presented some of our 3D medical imaging tech as well as some of our big science projects.
